I was visiting my family in Port St. Lucie and we went to Stuart. We decided to stop in for a bite and drinks. It was happy hour as well. We got chicken nachos, pulled pork flatbread which was my favorite, peel and eat shrimp, chicken wings and spinach dip. All were delicious. For drinks we have margaritas and a vodka and pineapple drink. The service was good and the ambiance was a tiki outdoors vibe.
We checked into the Old Colorado Inn on Friday evening and decided to have a light meal at the Sneaki Tiki located there. I had the blackened fish tacos and my friend had the coconut crusted shrimp. We shared a side salad. We also had a side of French Fries. All the food including dessert were excellent. However we were somewhat disappointed with the French Fries. They were not at all crisp. The server was very personable and efficient. So our taste buds were satisfied but our ears were irritated by the terrible performer who sang so pitchy that we had a hard time recognizing the tunes. In three words he seemed loud and drunk.
I consider this place a hidden gem in Stuart. They were one of the only places that was really open in the downtown area on a Wednesday night. Our bartender was nice enough to stay open a little bit later until we finished our drinks too. They have plenty of outdoor seating, it looks like they had a few games like Jenga laying around, and there is ample bar space. This is downstairs from an older hotel or motel. This was a very quick stop, but somewhere we enjoyed!
I loved it but couldn't finish of course. We got the chips and salsa with guacamole. Amazing. Also the spinach artichoke dip. Amazing. I didn't realize it was all done outdoors and my grandson was hot and sweaty. The waitress moved the fan so we could have a breeze. She was busting her tail! Pretty cool place in downtown Stuart!
I believe that the Tiki is permanently closed. Sad as it was an amazing local hangout with great food,great music and great friends.
